Happy V-day!

Today was our first and last Valentine's Day as an engaged couple. Rod and I usually don't celebrate on Valentine's day--we find it less crowded and more intimate if we wait a couple days. But this morning, Rod surprised me with a dozen red roses. It was so funny. Rod almost never gets up before me, but he said he was going to get up and take a shower. About 60 seconds later he got back into bed. I asked if he forgot something. When I rolled over, there were dozen roses and a beautiful card in bed next to me.

It was such a beautiful surprise!
