Welcome

Hi everyone, and welcome to our site! Well . . . the honeymoon is over, but our married life is just beginning. If this is your first time to our site, we started the site to inform our friends and family about our wedding events and details. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to keep it up with stories about our daily lives. We don't update it as often as we like, but we hope you enjoy it nonetheless. On Wednesdays, we post some of the behind-the-scenes details of our wedding vendors and projects. If you are looking for the Chrismas Letter you can click on the link in the labels section below or simply scroll down. Please sign our guestbook. We love reading all the comments.

Our First Valentine's Day (as a married couple)

About a month before V-day, Rod told me that he had made plans for the holiday. I was SO excited. I love surprises! Then, just a couple of weeks before the big day, Rod told me that the surprise plans had fallen through. We were left scrambling for alternate plans. Usually we go to dinner at a nice restaurant, but it was too late to get reservations anywhere worth eating. We opted, instead, to catch the Ballet West version of Madame Butterfly at the Capitol Theater.

It was such a perfect day. We spent the entire day just the two of us. I woke up early to surprise Rod with V-day sugar cookies. We had lunch at a cute (good but not great) sushi restaurant before heading downtown. The ballet was wonderful, if not emotional. I think I enjoyed it more than Rod, but he was wonderful. We made a quick cookie drop to my prego friend CarleyAnne, and headed home to cuddle in for the rest of the evening.
